Exfoliating your lips? No? Maybe you should. The winter air is probably leaving them pretty chapped right about now. If smooth soft lips are your thing (and I’m pretty sure they’re everyone’s thing) then this  Skinn Simitri James Sugar Lips Polishing Scrub for Dry & Lined Lips might be what you’re looking for.

This scrub definitely helps remove any dry skin on your lips and helps them look soft and smooth. Does it do much for lined lips? Eh, not really.

How to use it:

Open up the lid, apply a small amount of the scrub on your finger (make sure your hands are clean first) and rub into your lips. Try to rub for at least a minute to see results. After scrubbing wash your lips or clean with a wet cotton pad and apply some lip balm or moisturizer. Personally, after using this scrub I like to dab on a little moisturizer, I feel as if it really penetrates and hydrates my lips.

Use when lips look or feel chapped, or twice a week as part of your beauty routine.

The look and feel:

Looks like hot-pink, wet, sugar. Feels like a sugar scrub and if some accidentally gets into your mouth it’s sweet.  When you have it on your lips you may feel a tingling sensation – this is normal and gives your lips a tiny bit of a plumper, fuller look.

The price:

Ranges between $15.00 and $20.00 for a 1.2 oz. container.

How long will this product last?

I don’t use this product that often, so honestly it can last you months and months depending on how chapped your lips get and whether or not it’s winter.

Is it worth the investment?

Yes. It’s inexpensive, will last you forever, and help with dry lips. It’s not a game changer but it’s good, if you’re curious about it you might as well try it. My lips have been smooth all winter – and I think this lip scrub helped with that. The only thing I don’t believe this product delivers on is removing lines.
